ALNY dropped 17.75% over ten minutes alongside quarterly results and reduced product-revenue guidance, while six of the eight stocks tracked in the July 30, 2026 premarket set moved higher. PWR led the upside with an 8.08% gain, REGN added 4.27%, and NCLH joined ALNY on the downside after its full-year earnings outlook crossed below expectations.

The company-level dispersion unfolded before a broadly stronger US session. Reuters reported that Wall Street later closed sharply higher as Microsoft’s forecast lifted technology and semiconductor shares. That wider risk-on backdrop did not erase the sharp split among the premarket earnings reactions tracked here. Reuters, July 30, 2026.

ALNY sells off despite an earnings beat

ALNY fell 17.75% over ten minutes as second-quarter non-GAAP diluted EPS of USD 1.84 crossed against a USD 1.55 estimate, while revenue of USD 1.29 billion came in against USD 1.32 billion expected.

Alnylam’s official release reported total revenue of USD 1.29 billion and non-GAAP diluted EPS of USD 1.84. The company also lowered its full-year 2026 TTR net product-revenue guidance to USD 4.2 billion-USD 4.5 billion from USD 4.4 billion-USD 4.7 billion, citing lessons from the initial phase of its ATTR-CM launch and normalization in second-line volume after pent-up demand was addressed. Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, July 30, 2026.

The ten-minute decline therefore accompanied a mixed release: earnings exceeded the supplied estimate, total revenue fell short of the supplied estimate, and the company reduced a major product-sales outlook. The observed reaction does not isolate any one component as the sole driver.

PWR and REGN lead the upside

PWR gained 8.08% over ten minutes following adjusted EPS of USD 4.24 versus USD 3.31 expected and revenue of USD 9.6 billion versus USD 8.61 billion expected. Quanta Services confirmed second-quarter revenue of USD 9.6 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of USD 4.24 in its official results. Quanta Services, July 30, 2026.

REGN rose 4.27% over ten minutes alongside adjusted EPS of USD 14.29 against USD 10.21 expected and revenue of USD 4.29 billion against USD 3.82 billion expected.

VCEL advanced 3.16% over ten minutes as fiscal 2026 sales guidance was raised to USD 330 million-USD 340 million from USD 326 million-USD 336 million, compared with a USD 332.2 million estimate.

AVXL added 2.77% over ten minutes alongside second-quarter EPS of -0.06 versus -0.08 expected.

BXMT and Ferrari rise; NCLH moves lower

BXMT gained 2.70% over ten minutes even as second-quarter EPS of USD 0.31 crossed below the USD 0.35 estimate. Its positive reaction was the clearest result-to-price divergence among the smaller upside moves.

RACE rose 2.27% over ten minutes alongside revenue of EUR 5.45 billion versus EUR 5.26 billion expected, an 8% constant-currency increase from a year earlier, and full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance of at least EUR 2.97 billion against a EUR 2.97 billion estimate. Ferrari also said its order book fully covered 2027.

NCLH fell 3.75% over ten minutes after adjusted EPS of USD 0.48 exceeded the USD 0.39 estimate, revenue of USD 2.64 billion came in against USD 2.65 billion expected, and full-year adjusted EPS guidance of USD 1.50 crossed below the USD 1.66 estimate.

A split earnings tape, not a single sector move

The directional count was six higher and two lower, but the magnitude was dominated by ALNY’s 17.75% decline. PWR’s 8.08% rise and REGN’s 4.27% gain led the other side, while VCEL, AVXL, BXMT and RACE advanced between 2.27% and 3.16%.

The group spans biotechnology, infrastructure services, cruise travel, commercial real estate finance and luxury autos. The supported read-through is dispersion rather than a coordinated peer trade: earnings beats sometimes traded higher, BXMT rose alongside a reported EPS miss, and ALNY sold off sharply despite above-estimate earnings as revenue and revised guidance complicated the headline.
