Midday recap, July 30, 2026: ENX +2.14% leads 8 tracked moves
ENX gained 2.14% over ten minutes alongside above-estimate quarterly results, leading a mixed July 30, 2026 midday set in which five of eight tracked instruments moved lower. CAPR posted the largest decline at 0.96% following a negative FDA advisory-panel headline, while QCOM, BSX, CMG and USDJPY also fell. MSFT and F joined ENX on the upside.
Euronext leads after quarterly results
ENX rose 2.14% over ten minutes as Euronext reported second-quarter adjusted diluted EPS of EUR 2.39 against an EUR 2.20 estimate and underlying revenue and income of EUR 544.4 million against EUR 523 million expected.
Euronext’s official results release confirmed adjusted diluted EPS of EUR 2.39 and underlying revenue and income of EUR 544.4 million. The company attributed the revenue performance to organic growth in non-volume-related businesses, activity across asset classes and acquisitions. Euronext, July 30, 2026.
The observed gain was the strongest ten-minute move in the eight-instrument set. It was also company-specific: the remaining observations covered biotechnology, semiconductors, software, medical devices, restaurants, foreign exchange and autos, so the group does not support a common peer or sector interpretation.
CAPR and QCOM head the declines
CAPR fell 0.96% over ten minutes following a headline that an FDA advisory panel had rejected the evidence supporting Capricor’s Duchenne muscular dystrophy cell therapy. Reuters reported that the panel voted nine to three against the effectiveness evidence for deramiocel, aligning with concerns that sufficient evidence had not been provided. Reuters, July 29, 2026.
QCOM declined 0.72% over ten minutes as a TD Cowen broker-action burst crossed with a price-target cut for Qualcomm. BSX lost 0.57% over ten minutes alongside another TD Cowen burst containing a Boston Scientific price-target cut.
CMG slipped 0.49% over ten minutes as TD Cowen set a USD 44 price target and reiterated its buy rating. The move ran against the positive rating language, underscoring that the initial price response cannot be reduced to the headline’s apparent direction.
USDJPY fell 0.38% over ten minutes alongside a report of potential yen intervention. The observation captures a stronger yen against the dollar around the report but does not establish that intervention occurred.
MSFT and Ford edge higher
MSFT rose 0.64% over ten minutes as TD Cowen raised its price target to USD 540 and reiterated its buy rating. F gained 0.34% over ten minutes alongside a report that Ford’s chief executive told staff Chinese automakers might enter the US market within the next five to ten years.
The directional split was three higher and five lower. ENX stood apart with the only move above 1%, while the other seven reactions ranged from a 0.96% decline to a 0.64% gain. The midday tape therefore read as a collection of discrete headline reactions rather than a coordinated risk-on, risk-off or sector-wide move.
