Solaris Energy Infrastructure shares are little changed today, giving back a small part of yesterday's 8.2% gain. That move followed an August 5, 2026 report in which the mobile power generation and fluid-handling equipment provider posted second-quarter revenue of $219.4 million, up 47% from $149.3 million a year earlier, with non-GAAP earnings of $0.39 per share beating the $0.34 estimate by 25.7%. Growth was broad-based: leasing revenue rose about 71% year over year and service revenue rose about 30%, with the company's Power Solutions segment — equipment increasingly in demand from data centers and other large power users — driving much of the gain.
Free cash flow came in at $491.8 million, a 224% margin, a sharp turnaround from negative free cash flow in the same quarter a year earlier. Diluted GAAP earnings per share actually declined, weighed down by a one-time $14.8 million debt-extinguishment loss and higher interest expense rather than anything in the operating business, which is why the non-GAAP measures and the stock's reaction point the opposite direction from the GAAP per-share number. The company also raised third-quarter guidance and issued fourth-quarter guidance for the first time. For the full breakdown, see our dated report on the results.
