Why Is Klaviyo Stock Down Today?
Klaviyo raised its full-year guidance and grew revenue 26%, and announced a same-day acquisition — but growth decelerated from the prior quarter and the raise itself was smaller than the company's usual pattern.
- Klaviyo fell 6.794% in the 15 minutes after its Q2 2026 report.
- Revenue grew 26% year-over-year to $370.58 million, above the $362.11 million estimate — a deceleration from 28% growth in the first quarter.
- Full-year 2026 guidance was raised to $1.526-1.534 billion in revenue, a smaller raise than the roughly 4-4.5% beat-to-guidance pattern the company has typically delivered.

Klaviyo, Inc. (KVYO) fell 6.794% in the fifteen minutes after its Q2 2026 report, even though the quarter beat estimates: revenue of $370.58 million against $362.11 million expected, up 26% year-over-year. That growth rate is itself a deceleration from the 28% growth Klaviyo posted in the first quarter, and full-year 2026 guidance was raised to $1.526-1.534 billion in revenue — a smaller raise than the roughly 4-4.5% beat-to-guidance margin Klaviyo has typically delivered in past quarters, which may explain why a beat-and-raise quarter still landed as a disappointment.
Klaviyo describes itself as an autonomous B2C customer relationship management platform, providing marketing automation — email, SMS, and increasingly AI agents — for e-commerce and consumer brands. The company had more than 205,000 total customers at quarter-end, with $50,000-plus ARR customers up 36% to 4,477, and net revenue retention of 109%. CEO Andrew Bialecki said adoption of the company's Composer and Customer Agent AI products validates its approach to building context infrastructure for AI agents.
The same day, Klaviyo announced it would acquire Agency, an AI customer-success startup founded by Elias Torres, who previously worked with Klaviyo's leadership and will join as Chief Product Officer to build out the company's AI agent products. Separately, Klaviyo's CFO, Amanda Whalen, is departing later this year — a transition disclosed back in July and still in progress — with Erica Smith, formerly of CyberArk, taking over as CFO on September 1, 2026.
