The company expects to begin the full U.S. commercial launch in the first quarter of 2027, to sell Mint only through the pharmacy channel, and to have manufacturing capacity for at least 1.5 million disposable Mint units in 2027. It said Mint will modestly dilute its 2027 gross margin and become highly accretive to its long-term gross margin at scale.

3D Intelligence and the Senseonics deal

Beta Bionics also unveiled 3D Intelligence, a new insulin dosing algorithm it has submitted to the FDA through a 510(k) application. It offers three selectable dosing experiences, one of which keeps the algorithm iLet users have today. The company expects to sell it as iLet 3D in the U.S. by the end of 2026 and as Mint 3D when Mint is fully launched, both subject to FDA clearance.

At 07:00:03 ET, half an hour before the clearance, Senseonics announced a partnership to connect its Eversense 365 sensor, which lasts a year, to the iLet Bionic Pancreas. Senseonics expects to finish development in the fourth quarter of 2026 and plans a commercial launch of the combined system in the same quarter.
