  • Figma is up sharply today, recovering nearly all of yesterday's 13.7% drop.
  • Yesterday's decline followed a quarter with 48% year-over-year revenue growth and a beat on both earnings and revenue, but a next-quarter guide the market read as conservative.
  • The company raised its full-year revenue forecast by $40 million alongside the report.

Figma shares are up sharply in pre-market trading today, recovering nearly all of yesterday's 13.7% drop. That decline followed the company's August 5, 2026 earnings report, which showed 48% year-over-year revenue growth to $370.08 million, ahead of the $351.56 million analysts expected, and earnings of $0.08 per share versus $0.04 expected — the company's third straight quarter of accelerating growth. Figma also raised its full-year revenue forecast by $40 million. The stock still fell on the day, on a next-quarter guide investors initially read as too conservative for an AI-adoption story the company has been telling all year.

A near round-trip like today's suggests the market's first reaction to that guide was harsher than its considered one — the underlying numbers have not changed since yesterday's report, only the price. For a recently public company with a small trading history, single-day reversals of this size are more common than they would be for an established large-cap, since there is less historical price data anchoring how big a move any one number should produce.
